Since Lecoque eggs was created by Jean-Marie Lecoque and his spouse Jeannine Vanvinckenroye, the company has grown to become one of the market leaders in the egg products sector in Europe, standing for superior quality products for industrial, wholesale and retail applications.
The team of 25 employees handle daily shipments of peeled, hardboiled eggs and a wide range of derived products to various European markets such as Belgium, the Netherlands, France, England, Germany and Scandinavia.
With a capacity of 75,000 eggs per hour, Lecoque eggs is among the market leaders in the sector.
We are always on the lookout for new packages and processing methods to make our production environmentally and energy conscious. In 2007, we invested in filtration of the cooling water to reduce water use by 80%.
A new production line has been operational since July 2010.
In order to further reduce our ecological footprint, the roofing of Lecoque eggs' facilities was equipped with solar panels in 2011. Significant investments were made in Lecoque eggs in 2014 and the first half of 2015. A new environmentally-friendly cooling system was installed. The entry line and packaging line were fully automated. Furthermore, both the storage and office spaces were extended by a total of 1800 m².
The daughters of the directors, Catherine and Céline, joined the company in 2015. Each is receiving specific training within the company. The future of Lecoque eggs looks bright!
